OptiPro Systems Awarded Business of the Year – 2020

Rotary and Chamber of Commerce present OptiPro Systems as Ontario Business of the Year

On Wednesday, September 2, 2020, the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and Ontario-Walworth Rotary Club presented their annual, co-sponsored Business of the Year Award to OptiPro Systems, 6368 Dean Parkway, Ontario, NY.

The award is based on community involvement; business methods; and customer service and satisfaction. Susan Salvaggio, Ontario-Walworth Rotary President presented a plaque and Donna Burolla, President of the Ontario Chamber presented Mike Bechtold, President of OptiPro Systems, with a letter of congratulations and an award graphic.

OptiPro has been in operation since 1982 and through innovation and adaptability in developing manufacturing solutions has managed to grow and expand to remain as a world-leader in the precision optics field, ceramics, and metal working.   OptiPro has developed and supported partnerships with Rochester universities and colleges in addition to the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army and NASA. OptiPro works with additional customers throughout USA plus Germany and Japan.

Continued dedication to growth within the Ontario community is evident by recent expansion of 15,000 square feet to provide for a Mastercam training area. Because OptiPro deals with medical, military, and space projects the business is considered “essential” and is able to remain open, with guidelines, during the Covid-19 pandemic. OptiPro now has over 100 employees in Ontario, NY.
