OptiPro Systems Appoints Rob Bechtold as Vice President

Bechtold transitions from his role as Chief Technology Officer and will assist in running day-to-day operations.

Rochester, NY – OptiPro Systems LLC, a leading manufacturer and distributor of precision CNC machines and CAD/CAM software, has named Rob Bechtold as Vice President effective April 6th, 2021.

Bechtold has spent his entire professional career at OptiPro, where he began as a Build Technician of their CNC equipment. He eventually moved into the Mechanical Engineering department where he worked for several years before becoming the Engineering Manager. Most recently, he has served as Chief Technology Officer in charge of engineering OptiPro’s line of optical fabrication and metrology equipment as well as overseeing process development groups. As Vice President, Bechtold will assist with running day-to-day operations and decision making. He will also continue as CTO for the time being.
